Terms of Use

Welcome to Disclosure Files (United Kingdom). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is — and isn’t

Disclosure Files is an archive and media project covering unexplained phenomena. Our content is provided for research, education, and general interest. We work hard to source and verify (see our Editorial Standards), but much of the subject matter is, by its nature, contested or unresolved. Nothing here is professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice, and a case file’s inclusion is not a claim that an event is proven.

Intellectual property

The Disclosure Files name, original writing, narration, design, and compilations are owned by Disclosure Files and protected by law. You may link to our pages and quote short extracts with clear attribution. You may not republish whole case files, reproduce our branding, or present our work as your own without permission. Source documents and public-domain material we cite remain the property (or the public domain) of their originators, credited where used.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, harvest personal data, or use it for anything unlawful. Any material you submit must be yours to share and must not be defamatory, infringing, or harmful.

We link to external sources so you can verify our work. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of sites we link to.

Disclaimer & liability

The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Disclosure Files excludes liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
